It is the perfect tree, whose fruit is full of fragrance and also full of taste, and which in the Hebrew tradition symbolizes the superiority of the chosen people. It is here, on this short stretch of Calabrian coast, that the rabbis come to select the most beautiful cedar lemons, which are essential for the most important Hebrew festival, Sukkot. That’s why the Diamante citron couldn’t be missing from our homage to Mediterranean Italy, a place that combines so many different traditions. We treated this fragrance with great care, as one would treat something that is more than a simple ingredient. Because it contains memories, faces, merchant ships and languages, all interwoven together. Endless stories that return the delicate nuances of the cedar lemon enriched with a touch of modernity: the spicy heart and the soft and musky base.
