Description
The mandarin is a very complex citrus fruit. Depending on the point in their life cycle, from the flower to the unripe fruit to the ripe mandarin, their scents change. Our homage to this gift from Sicily was to reconstruct these scents in their entirety, while eliminating any impairment caused by processing.
This would not have been possible for us without the contribution of innovation. New extraction methods that are here more than usual in the service of tradition. We created the scent of this fruit in all its parts using three different essential oils: the delicate and fleeting green mandarin, then the whole fruit essential oil and finally that of the yellow mandarin. The olfactory experience is intoxicating. It’s like experiencing different seasons in a single moment: the flower, the green leaf, the peel with almost bitter notes and the sweet flesh. The bouquet is rounded off by jasmine, geranium and amber. The result is a powerful fragrance that takes us all the way to Sicily, on a wonderful sunny day where the sun’s rays warm the fruits and spread their beguiling and gentle scent…
