Iris Nazarena is a sensual, mystical interpretation of the noble iris root, united with sacred frankincense. The rare fragrance is inspired by the Iris Bismarckiana – also known as Iris Nazarena – which grows in the mountains east of Nazareth.
The composition of perfumer Ralf Schwieger avoids classic Iris clichés and gives the valuable bloom a modern depth. Ambrette ensures delicate warmth, while Rose and Stern anise bring Greens, floral freshness. Patchouli, vetiver and a fine oud note anchor the fragrance in the depth, crossed of smoky frankincense nuances-an olfactory thread that runs through the DNA of the Aedes de Venustas brand.
