Grenadille d’Afrique from Aedes de Venustas is a tribute to the rare African grenadill wood and the wild landscape of his homeland.
Alberto Morillas creates an olfactory work of art with a few, powerful ingredients – rough, profound and emotional. The focus is on Haitian vetiver, which forms the backbone with notes of smoke, earth and flint. Spraying bergamot, lavender and violet give the fragrance light and width, while vanilla, Labdanum and musk provide balsamic warmth and sensual depth.
The fragrance unfolds like a sunset above the savannah – between glowing stone, burned wood and cool night air.
Now in a noble new bottle: corrugated glass with peacock blue accents and matt -black closure – a symbol for the next era of Aedes de Venustas.
