« Bal d’Afrique is one of my first fragrances. When I created it, I wanted to capture memories in a perfume. At the same time, it was important to me to incorporate an imaginative facet into the composition. My father lived and traveled through Africa for over ten years. I read his notes and was inspired by his travels on cargo ships and his encounters with very different people… It was as if I was traveling through the words of another person Africa. And that’s exactly what I tried to capture in Bal d’Afrique. The fragrance is not only a journey of fantasy, but also a homage to African cultures and their influence.”
